These drums are amazing. Some really unique and realistic drum beats. Tons of rolls and fills. Even segregated breakdown midi. Metalcore collection is my favorite so far. Definitely made with a metal musician in mind. 🤘🏻

These are some of the best metal and rock midi drum files I have come across. I downloaded a few of the free ones and knew I had to buy the mega pack. They map perfectly in EZ Drummer and they are a nice combo of creative and dynamic without trying to do too much.

This is a dream come true! Ive bought plenty of drum files before. Out of the 200 files you find 20 beats that are useable. These metal packs are a immeasurable value. laid out in a theme building format every single beat is usable. I crap you negative. im buying the everything bundle my next paycheck.

Big package in such a small order(free), and I have to say I couldn’t be more impressed. The grooves are unique and have their own individual characteristics and serve their own purpose. Very fun and filling and I’m blown away by the quality and lack of generic quality. Very good stuff sir!

Absolutely solid bundle all around. As many of us musicians know, writers block is a very real struggle. I loaded up one of the grooves and within 5 minutes I had a a solid riff laid out. Also, as a complete noob with this whole digital software stuff, this was extremely easy to use.

Well executed natural sounding grooves with some personality. I’m actually using these on an iPad for now, so I’m limited to editing in the DAW (Logic Pro), which makes the reference samples extremely helpful in my case. Very satisfied!

It's a MIDI drum pack that's very well made. Not only is it completely free, but you can also use it and adapt it to your song, whether by adding, removing, or changing each MIDI beat. It's great!

Really solid midi pack, with tons of different patterns in various BPM. The reference files with audio are also super helpful. Simple to create good beats and map them with your favorite plugin.

Really good. The midis go in order of verse, pre chorus, chorus, second option chorus, bridge and bridge second option with rolls. There a several per folder for bpm. Outstanding work.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The nu metal beats aren't completely inundated with double kick. (Which is cool, but not all the time.) Glad I found this.

I've been on the hunt lately for some Drum beats and came across Whack Audio. As a guitarist I don't like spending hours programming drums so Whack Audio had a free content pack of breakdowns so I tried it out and was immediately impressed! There is so many companies that provide midi drums at a price and being able to sample them before hand will also be my go to route. We all hate spending our hard earned money and getting crappy quality stuff. Whack Audio definitely has my attention now!

As a guitarist the last thing I wanted to do was spend months trying to teach myself how to midi drums decent enough just to write riffs. These drum midi’s are studio quality and sound phenomenal in my daw! They sound great and at any BPM btw so scaling up or down is very clean! Tremendously valuable for anyone!!

What are MIDI packs?
Drum MIDI packs are a set of grooves recorded by a real drummer on an e-kit. These packs usually follow a constant theme and are a great source for speeding up song writing.
Why shouldn't I just program drums myself?
Programmed drums can end up sounding extremely robotic, with a machine gun effect. All the Whack Studio MIDI packs have been played by a real drummer and keep the feel of a real drummer behind a kit.
Drum programming can take a huge amount of time. That time is better spent making more music instead of clicking individual hits with a mouse.
If you are a guitarist, playing and getting creative on the guitar is your forte. Similarly, drumming is my strength. With these MIDI packs you get a wide variety of grooves played with a lot of creativity.
What will I need to use the MIDI pack?
An audio editing program (DAW) like Cubase or Ableton, and a drum VST like EZ Drummer, Superior Drummer, GGD or any other.
Are the MIDI packs compatible with all drum VSTs?
Yes. The MIDI packs follow the common GM drum map and can be easily mapped to any drum sampler.
How do I get the exact mapping?
Once you download the MIDI pack and extract it, you will find a text file with all the mapping.
How do I use it?
Once you extract the zip file you will find a folder of MIDI files. Drag and drop the files into any DAW to use them.
Licence and what you get
100% royalty-free MIDI files that work with any drum sample library. The pack does not include audio loops; it includes reference drum files so you can cycle through individual grooves quickly without setting up your VST. The MIDI files follow the GM drum map, all mappings are included, and each groove is BPM labelled.
